Where the approval of His Excellency the President of the University to establish it was issued on 07/07/1441 AH. King Abdulaziz University has placed at the top of its priorities the realization of the Kingdom’s vision to localize the pharmaceutical industries to increase the strength of the national economy by transferring the production of important pharmaceutical products from countries of the world to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a focus on products that include new technologies such as nanotechnology, biotechnology and others. As these products can reduce the frequency of drug use and reduce their side effects on the body, which will help reduce the impact of traditional pharmaceutical products on the health care system.
